Gary Boyd

Gary Boyd is the senior litigation Partner of the firm. He practices exclusively as a civil litigator and has represented his clients at all court levels in the Province of Ontario and in the Federal Courts. His practice has includes personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, shareholder oppression, construction lien, insurance claims and contract disputes. Gary has a special expertise in the field of sports law and has represented both athletes and sports organizations in a variety of situations. He also has extensive trial experience.

In recognition of his experience and competence, Gary has been awarded the rating “BV” by Martindale-Hubbell under its impartial rating system for attorneys. (“BV”, according to Martindale-Hubbell, is an indication of exemplary reputation and well-established practice.)

Gary is active in the Ottawa music community. He has served as a Director of Opera Lyra Ottawa and the Ottawa Bach Choir and as the President of the National Capital Suzuki School of Music. He is currently an enthusiastic performer with The Cantata Singers and the Ewashko Singers.

Gary is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and belongs to the County of Carleton Law Association, and the American Association for Justice, as well as the Canadian Bar Association.
